| basically, is it just the tape holding the controller in place then? If so, that will become a problem over time, especially when it gets hott from sitting in the sun ect. The best way to do stuff like this is full on brackets ect, however a method that I have used before since I really can' tmake my own brackets (works just as good as brackets...just seems ghetto from the backside) is with copper silicone gasket sealer. Seriously, buy a tube of this stuff, and get everything resting in place where you want it to sit, then literally cover the entire perimeter of the controller in this stuff (on the backside only to where the silicone will touch both the controller and the console). Then just let it sit over night and you're done. The sealer dries up and makes a VERY sturdy and ridgid holder for the controller, but can still easily be cut off if you ever want to remove the controller later. It works great and won't move at all when you push buttons as it's very strong stuff...only thing is that if you don't do it carefully, the backside of the controller and console will look very sloppy, but it's not like that is seen anyways so it doesn't really matter unless you are anal like me. Just take your time, and even the backside will look nice with just a smooth bead of silicone around the perimeter. Besides it holds the controller perfectly, is not effected by heat, and maybe even acts as a little dampner for the controller against jarring?...who knows. Anyways, just a thought...tape is a HUGE no no though IMO.
